Booking with a
TRAVEL AGENT vs Online
Do you get email specials from airline suppliers? I know I do! And wow some of those deals are so great that you just have to jump on them right away. But the question then comes in, should I do it myself or through a travel agent?
It is best to compare the ‘value’ of using a travel agent vs cost of booking it yourself.
The cost of some of those vacation deals are often the same if you book with a travel agent. However, booking with a travel agent is where the ‘value’ comes in. Your travel agent can find the deal you found in your email. But…suppliers pricing already has the commission built into it. If you book online yourself, the commission goes back to the supplier. If you book with a travel agent, the supplier pays them to work for you. That is ‘value’ that I’m interested in, to get a service with someone else paying it.
We all want our vacations to be perfect but being aware that things might happen is reality. Getting the best ‘value’ out of your vacation investment is to have a travel agent working for you. Travel agents personalize your vacation needs and wants, knowledge of the location, information on the resort you picked, all documents delivered to you (either via email, mail, or in person) and work for you before, during and after your trip.
As a travel agent, I understand that your time is valuable. Let me help get the best value for your money spent!
